Saturday 13 July 2024 - We are extremely sorry that we have had to cancel the meeting at DORKING due to lack of support.


Arrangements for the GUILD OUTING on 10 August to the Andover area of Hampshire are going well, and we definitely have enough support from members for the outing to be viable.


Full details will follow shortly.

Formation of the Guild

St Swithun's East Grinstead have published scanned copies of all their parish magazines since the mid 19th century (see The Guild was actually formed at a meeting in St Swithun's curate's house in 1927 and the magazine for July that year included an account of the inaugural meeting of the Guild (see below). Thanks to Robert Everest for bringing this to our attention.
