Saturday 9 March 2024 - AGM at Warnham  - ringing from 10:30am to 12 noon (14cwt ring of 10); 12 noon to 12.40pm AGM in the tower (or church if open); lunch at The Owl, Kingsfold 12.45pm to 2.30pm (orders to David Finch); followed by ringing from 2.45pm to 3.30pm at The Stoneyhurst Ring (formerly The Bell Meadow Ring)

Formation of the Guild

St Swithun's East Grinstead have published scanned copies of all their parish magazines since the mid 19th century (see The Guild was actually formed at a meeting in St Swithun's curate's house in 1927 and the magazine for July that year included an account of the inaugural meeting of the Guild (see below). Thanks to Robert Everest for bringing this to our attention.
